Anthony J. Fiacco, MD earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also completed certificates in Healthcare Leadership and Patient Safety & Quality.

Dr. Fiacco completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.

Dr. Fiacco is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He practices comprehensive medical ophthalmology. His clinical interests include diagnosis and management of various eye conditions including glaucoma, retinal disease, and ocular surface conditions. He performs a variety of laser and office based procedures.

He and his wife, Amy, enjoy spending their time outdoors running or hiking. They are excited to be putting down roots in North Carolina and look forward to becoming part of the local community.
