Aaron Lindeke-Myers, MD received his undergraduate degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He graduated cum laude from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. After medical school he completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Duke University Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina.

 

Dr. Lindeke-Myers is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has presented at national ophthalmology conferences and published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on maculopathy, ocular drug safety, and patient perspectives in ophthalmic care.

 

Dr. Lindeke-Myers practices comprehensive ophthalmology and performs cataract surgery. He performs office-based procedures including lasers to treat secondary cataracts and glaucoma. He also medically manages glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. He is committed to ensuring each patient understands their eye conditions and dedicated to working with them to provide personalized treatment plans.

 

Dr. Lindeke-Myers grew up in Hillsborough, North Carolina. During college he discovered his passion for ophthalmology while spending a summer volunteering to provide eye care in rural villages in Ghana. Outside of work, he continues to enjoy traveling, as well as trail running, camping, and mountaineering.
