
Amy M. Fowler, MD
Dr. Amy Fowler’s clinical interests include surgical repair of eyelid malpositions (dermatochalasis, ptosis, entropion, ectropion, etc.), eyelid tumor management, eyelid and eyebrow reconstructions following Mohs surgery, brow and forehead lifts, reconstruction after eyelid injuries, evaluation and management of lacrimal drainage dysfunction, and treatment of blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm with neuromodulators. She has a particular interest in surgical and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation techniques, including botulinum toxins, fillers, and energy-based skin therapies.
She first came to North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 1989 for her undergraduate education and has lived and practiced here ever since. Her husband, also an ophthalmologist, and she love taking advantage of the beautiful North Carolina weather and have a lake house that they enjoy sharing with friends and family.
