Nisha Mukherjee, MD
Nisha Mukherjee, MD began her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then went on to pursue her medical degree at Duke University Medical School, during which she spent one year as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow. She remained at Duke for her residency training in ophthalmology at the Duke Eye Center.
Dr. Mukherjee is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and North Carolina Society of Eye Physicans.
She is married to Arun Ganesh, who is an anesthesiologist. She has one son, Avi.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.
Her practice interests include comprehensive ophthalmology and medical management of retinal disease.
